Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Prestwich is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a national dealer group. You will conduct routine and complex maintenance to manufacturer standards and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. The role offers 33 days leave (incl.

bank holidays), pension, life assurance and a performance bonus with ongoing training including EV maintenance. A minimum of 3 years' experience and NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds is required; full UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification as a Vehicle Technician.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience working as an automotive technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine and complex vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and electronic issues.
• Ensure high quality and customer satisfaction with every job.
• Keep accurate records of work performed in line with industry standards.
• Maintain workshop equipment and tools in good condition.
• Support the ongoing training and development of colleagues.
• Attend a two-day residential induction academy to learn company processes and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with latest automotive technology, including electric vehicles.
