Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Preston is seeking a skilled Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy used car dealership. You will service, repair and diagnose a range of vehicles with accuracy and pride, and complete paperwork to a high standard.

The ideal candidate holds NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, a current UK driving licence and your own tools. You will enjoy a supportive environment with excellent conditions, including 30 days leave and on-site

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Current and valid UK Driving Licence.
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Vehicle Technician role passion and enjoyment in all aspects of work.
• Your own Vehicle Technician tools for the role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles.
• MOT Testing.
• Repair or replace defective parts and resolve identified defects.
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a thriving Used Car Dealership, located In Preston.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Repair or replace defective parts and resolve identified defects.
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2/ 3 or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach.
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
• Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £37,000 basic.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are 42.5 hours. Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm, plus alternate Saturday mornings (Will consider Part-Time). Can be flexible as branch open 8am-7pm.
