Jobs4 is seeking a Vehicle Technician for Orpington/Bromley, within a busy dealership. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards in a modern workshop.

The role offers strong earning potential with a £39,000 base salary, £55,000 OTE, and a £3,000 welcome bonus. Overtime is available, with 1 in 4 Saturdays paid as overtime, plus manufacturer training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Vehicle Technician in a dealership or independent garage.
• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify any additional work required.
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise efficiency and productivity.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures.

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to the highest standards. Working in a modern workshop, you'll ensure all vehicles are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.

The Role

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Full UK driving licence.
