Job summary

Keudos Connect Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking experienced Motor Vehicle Technicians for a full-time, permanent position in Reading. You will join a well-established workshop with a knowledgeable team, performing maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on a full range of cars using OEM equipment and company systems.

The role runs Monday–Friday with one Saturday morning in three, offering a starting salary of £38,000–£42,000 per year plus bonuses, 22 days' holiday plus bank holidays, a company

• Certified to NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience as a Vehicle Technician.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and/ or diagnostics on the full range of cars.
• Maximise efficiency while maintaining standards and benchmarks.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs meet repair methods.
• Record and monitor detailed explanations of work carried out in company systems.
• Provide colleagues and customers with clear explanations of work required or carried out.

The role

This is a full time and permanent role. You will work Monday to Friday, plus one Saturday morning in three (as agreed in a rota shared equally between you and your colleagues).

Your responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs and / or diagnostics on the full range of cars.
• Maximising efficiency, while always maintaining company and industry standards and benchmarks.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing, maintenance and repairs are completed in line with the manufacturers repair methods.
• Utilise the company systems to record and monitor detailed explanations of all work carried out.
• Providing your colleagues and our customers with highly detailed explanations of work required, or work carried out. Through face to face and video communications.
• Expand your knowledge through the completion of training modules, as required to ensure your knowledge and understanding of the product is maintained to the required level.
• To show respect to your colleagues and maintain your work area to company standards, ensure an excellent and safe work environment.

Your qualifications

• You will be a fully trained and experienced Service or Diagnostic Technician.
• Certified to NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to a Level 3 manufacturers qualification.
• 3 or more years experience as a Vehicle Technician.

What we can offer you

We offer a highly competitive salary package. Including a starting basic salary of between £38,000 and £42,000 p.a (dependent on your skill levels and experience). In addition, you will be given access to achievable team and individual performance bonus schemes. Your O.T.E is in excess of £60k, is not capped and overachievement is always encouraged and rewarded.

You will receive 22 days paid holiday each year, plus all bank holidays.
