Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover the Reading area. You will perform mobile servicing, maintenance and repairs, diagnose faults and complete job documentation while working independently.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with overtime at 1.5x. Tools and uniform provided. Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. This role offers varied customer locations and a clear path for progression.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing and repairing vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs.
• Capable of working independently in a mobile environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mobile vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician to cover the Reading area. Applicants must have hands-on vehicle servicing and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Experienced time-served Technicians will be considered for this role.

Location: Reading

Salary: £34,000 basic | OTE: £40,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, overtime paid 1.5 time

Mobile Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mobile Mechanic, Automotive Technician or similar
• Minimum 2 Years experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
