Responsibilities

• Conduct health checks and diagnostics on Ford Commercial Vehicles.
• Servicing, inspections and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Fit accessories and customer-requested modifications.
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Identify additional work during inspections and report it.
• Ensure warranty repairs and aftersales work follow guidelines.
• Road test vehicles to verify fault rectification.
• Complete documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle health checks and diagnostics on Ford Commercial Vehicles
• Perform servicing, inspections, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Fit accessories and additional customer-requested modifications
• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Identify and report any additional work during inspections
• Ensure all warranty repairs and aftersales work adhere to manufacturer guidelines
• Road test vehicles to verify fault rectification
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and thoroughly

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in vehicle repair
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic, ideally within a dealership or independent garage
• Strong diagnostic skills in both mechanical and electrical systems
• Self-motivated with a focus on delivering quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow manufacturer procedures
