Job summary

Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join the busy workshop. The role requires servicing, repairing, and diagnosing issues on Maxus vans and other light commercial vehicles.

You’ll work within a team and deliver excellent customer service while keeping up with warranty paperwork. The position offers a competitive basic salary with overtime opportunities, tool insurance, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Holds certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of vehicles.
• Has previous experience in a similar role.
• Proactive team player who can work independently.
• IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team at Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland as we join the MAXUS dealer network.

Are you a skilled and motivated Technician with experience working on light commercial vehicles? Whether you already have experience working on Maxus vans or are looking to develop your skills with an authorised Maxus dealer, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical and electrical repairs on Maxus vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Inspecting and repairing vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to the highest standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Completing all relevant administration including warranty paperwork and job cards.

Location

Based at Lloyd Ltd Bishop Auckland (Holland House, St Helens Way, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, DL14 9AX).

Hours

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with additional overtime available.
