Job summary

Lloyd Ltd Dumfries is seeking a Vehicle Technician for our busy workshop. You will perform servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles, including 4x4s and vans, ensuring high standards and reliable vehicle performance.

Qualifications

• Holds certified qualifications in the servicing and repair of vehicles.
• Has previous experience working in a similar role.
• Is a proactive team player who can also work independently.
• Is IT literate and comfortable using internal systems.
• Has strong communication skills and a professional approach.
• Holds a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and mechanical and electrical repairs on a range of 4×4 vehicles, vans and other commercial vehicles.
• Inspecting and repairing vehicles.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to the highest standards.
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Completing all relevant administration including warranty paperwork and job cards.

Hours

40 hours per week (Monday to Friday), with additional overtime available.
