Job summary

Perfect Placement is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for an established dealership in East Edinburgh. The role welcomes all levels, with training and a supportive team environment, offering a competitive salary and clear progression opportunities.

Benefits include a fixed- fee basic salary up to £41,000 depending on experience, plus an OTE up to £47,000 with bonus scheme. Overtime paid at 1.5x; Monday to Friday pattern; ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician or equivalent.
• Dealership experience preferred but all levels encouraged to apply.
• Own tools required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team.
• Excellent communication skills and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and mechanical repairs to high standards.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostics and live data.
• Accurately complete job cards and paperwork.
• Advise customers on additional repairs identified.
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and correctly first time.
• Maintain professional, punctual attitude.
• Work as part of a supportive dealership team.
