Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy franchised dealership in Northumberland (South). You will repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards and conduct diagnostics to identify faults.

The role offers a basic salary up to £36,000 with an OTE of about £44,000, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a £500 annual tool allowance and access to manufacturer accredited training programmes.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (desirable).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Possession of own set of tools.
• Full UK driving licence.
• MOT licence (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct diagnostic checks to identify faults.
• Inspect vehicles for wear, tears, and general faults.
• Complete work adhering to DVSA standards.
• Carry out all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.
