Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Sidcup is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable automotive dealership.

You will diagnose, service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards using the latest diagnostic tools, with ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression paths.

The role offers a competitive base salary up to £45,000 with OTE of £60,000+, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, and overtime at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a professional automotive service environment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for complex work.
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving licence and minimum 1 year’s driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Service vehicles and diagnose faults.
• Complete repairs, component replacements and inspections.
• Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
• Advise customers on additional repairs and maintenance needs.
• Utilise diagnostic tools and maintain workshop records.
• Perform road tests and health checks.
• Keep up-to-date with manufacturer updates through ongoing training.

• Competitive basic salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Conduct routine servicing and diagnose complex faults
• Complete repairs, component replacements, and vehicle inspections
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
• Advise customers on additional repairs and maintenance needs
• Utilise the latest diagnostic tools and maintain accurate workshop records as a Vehicle Technician
• Perform vehicle road tests and health checks
• Keep up-to-date with technical information and manufacturer updates through ongoing training

Requirements:

• IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician qualification or equivalent
• Proven experience working within a professional automotive service environment
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills, capable of handling complex work
• Knowledge of working in a busy dealership environment is advantageous
• Eligible to work in the UK with a clean driving licence and minimum 1 year’s driving experience
