Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our depots in Lancashire and Yorkshire. You will diagnose faults, service and repair buses, and help prepare vehicles for MOT while upholding safety and quality standards. A Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds and a full driving licence are essential, with a PCV licence preferred or obtainable.

Vehicle Technician

We’re looking for a Vehicle Technician to join us at one of our many depots across Lancashire and Yorkshire. BASIC SALARY: £42000 - £48000

JOB DESCRIPTION

You’ll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring our buses remain roadworthy, dependable and ready to keep communities moving.

What you’ll be doing

PERSON SPECIFICATION

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and is passionate about keeping vehicles operating safely and efficiently. You’ll ideally have:

• A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent City & Guilds qualifications)
• A full driving licence
• A flexible approach to working hours
• Experience working on buses or coaches (desirable but not essential)
• A PCV licence, or the willingness and ability to obtain one
