Job summary

Holt Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy Livingston workshop. You will service, diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards within a modern dealership environment.

This full-time role offers a generous basic salary up to £50,000 with OTE £55,000, a 42.5-hour week, ongoing manufacturer training and clear opportunities for career progression. You will work with a supportive team and benefit from a transparent bonus structure and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience.
• Previous dealership experience is desirable.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A positive attitude with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete vehicle health checks and inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record work carried out and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality workmanship while helping to keep the workshop running efficiently.
