Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Lincoln to join a well-established workshop. You will carry out servicing, fault-finding and routine maintenance to a high standard.

The role offers a structured development path, strong support, and progression opportunities, with a 45-hour week on a rota including weekends, plus a competitive bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year workshop experience.
• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete fault-finding tasks.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension and clutch components.
• Perform cambelt replacements.
• Maintain accurate digital job card write-ups.
