Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a major dealership in Corby. Work in a modern, manufacturer‑approved workshop with a strong focus on training, development, and long‑term stability.

Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a 1 in 3 rota and a competitive benefits package. The role involves servicing, fault finding, brake/suspension/clutch work, and cambelt replacements; candidates should have at least one year of workshop experience and a Level 2 in Light Vehicle

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a workshop environment.
• Minimum Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Strong mechanical skills.
• Reliable work history with consistent attendance.
• Own a well stocked toolbox appropriate for workshop duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault finding.
• Repair and replace brakes, suspension, and clutch components.
• Cambelt replacement.

Location: Corby
Salary: up to £40,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime (OTE 45k+)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
