Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a Blackpool workshop. You will service and maintain vehicles, diagnose faults (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic) and undertake MOT testing if qualified.

A full UK driving license is required, with Level 3 qualifications (NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds) or equivalent; Level 2 accepted with dealership experience. Salary up to £42,000 basic plus uncapped bonus and overtime, with typical 48k OTE DOE.

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent; Level 2 accepted with dealership experience.
• MOT license is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).

Salary Up to £42,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + Overtime OTE 48k DOE & Qualifications

Days Monday Friday, 45 hours per week, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on a rota, Ref 31505

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). We will also consider a level 2 if you have main dealership experience
