Octane Recruitment Ltd in Blackpool is helping a leading main dealer group recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. The role demands 4+ years of workshop experience and a Level 3 qualification, with a full UK driving license.

You will service and maintain vehicles, diagnose electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults, and undertake MOT duties if qualified. The position runs Monday to Friday, 45 hours weekly, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota; up to £40,000 base plus bonus and overtime.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) is required; Level 2 acceptable with main dealer experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out MOT testing duties if qualified.
• Work within brand parameters and on warranty work as applicable.
