Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a Stockport depot. The role requires 4+ years workshop experience and a Level 3 qualification with proof, plus a full UK driving license.

Salary up to £43,000 basic plus uncapped bonuses, plus a £3,000 productivity bonus and other incentives; OTE £48k DOE. Typical hours are 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota, totaling 40 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years workshop experience in automotive service and maintenance
• Full UK driving license
• MOT testing qualification is beneficial but not essential

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles


• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters


• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Requirements:

• Full UK driving license


• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent). We will also consider a level 2 if you have main dealership experience


• MOT License is beneficial but not essential
