Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Indian Queens is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join a busy dealership and service department. You will conduct heavy diagnostic repairs, routine servicing to manufacturer standards, and support MOT testing where applicable.

The role offers a modern workshop, manufacturer-backed training, Monday to Friday 08:30–17:00, with Saturdays optional paid as overtime. NVQ Level 3 and a proactive approach to learning are expected; MOT licence is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a focus on diagnostics.
• MOT licence is desirable but not a requirement.
• Ideally a heavy diagnostic technician; however, Service Technicians seeking to develop their skills will also be considered.
• Ability to work efficiently within a busy environment.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
• A proactive approach to continual learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heavy diagnostic repairs and fault finding on a variety of vehicles
• Perform routine servicing and repair work adhering to manufacturer standards
• Utilise your Level 3 NVQ qualification to deliver high-quality work
• Assist with MOT testing where applicable (MOT licence advantageous but not essential)
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
• Communicate findings effectively to team members and customers
• Keep up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques
