Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Southampton is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy Service Department. This role offers a competitive base salary from £35,000 with an achievable bonus scheme pushing OTE above £40,000, plus a strong training pathway within a reputable dealer group.

The position operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with only six Saturday mornings per year (08:00-13:00).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or NVQ Level 2 with significant relevant experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine vehicle servicing, inspections, and checks.
• Diagnosing vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards, including electronic and mechanical components.
• Performing wheel alignments and other specialised tasks.
• Ensuring high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
• Maintaining workshop tools, equipment, and work area to a high standard as a Vehicle Technician.
• Completing relevant documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Supporting the team with additional workshop duties as required.
