Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician for a reputable family-run dealership in Brentwood, Essex. You will accurately repair and service vehicles, diagnose faults, and complete work to safety and quality standards.

This full-time role offers Monday to Friday hours, ongoing training toward Master Technician qualifications, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician post-apprenticeship.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of tools.
• Experience working on a range of vehicle repairs, including diagnostics, cambelts, and timing chains.
• Confident working independently and managing a varied workload.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently undertake vehicle repairs and servicing.
• Diagnose faults precisely, ensuring all work is compliant with safety and quality standards.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical tasks delegated by the workshop supervisor.
• Keep detailed records of parts used and time spent on repairs.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to company standards.
