Job summary

Halfords is recruiting for a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic at our Fusion centre in the UK. You will service and repair vehicles, carry out diagnostics and more complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements, in a fast-growing, customer‑focussed environment.

This role offers a base salary of £33,000–£36,620 with an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,600 per year, and on-target earnings up to £43,220. Applicants should have Level 3 LV maintenance and a full driving licence with ≤9 points.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic able to carry out diagnostic work (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair and replacements (coolant/diesel injectors, head gasket, brakes, electrical).

Job description

On-target earnings up to £43,220. Comprising a base salary of £33,000 - £36,620. An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,600 per year. 5 days a week. Earn extra with our refer a friend scheme T&Cs.

As a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic, you will be already skilled in servicing and repair/replacement work. Youll have the ability to carry out more complex tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements and diagnostics in areas such as vehicle electrics, brake steering and suspension systems.
