Octane Recruitment's client in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Vehicle Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain a range of vehicles in a busy workshop. You will work on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions and electrical systems, using diagnostic tools to resolve complex problems and maintain detailed service records.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £50,000 with quarterly and yearly bonuses, a modern workshop, and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance preferred but not essential.
• Must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and 3 years full-time experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate repair recommendations to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and repair techniques.

Vehicle Technician

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic Salary

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm, Saturday mornings on rota

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to join our client's workshop near Hempstead.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Vehicle Technician to work ina well-run independent workshop with a great work environment for an expanding company. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. Vehicle Technician responsibilities:

Vehicle Technician requirements:

• We are ideally looking for technicians with Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance, however this is not essential
• At minimum you must have Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and have 3 years of fulltime experience
• Applicants must have a full UK driving license
