Allscreens Nationwide Ltd are recruiting a Vehicle Technician for a franchise-approved dealer in Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taf. Join a busy service department with a long-standing presence in South Wales, offering a 40-hour week on a 4-day rota and ongoing manufacturer training.

Starting salary around £30,000+ with a bonus scheme (£300+ monthly). Applicants should have IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, 3+ years post-qualification, and a valid UK driving licence. Commutable location is essential.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is required.
• Minimum of 3 years practical post-qualification experience.
• Diagnostic or Master Technician level qualification is desirable.
• UK driving licence held and valid.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, including large engine-based work.
• Carry out routine servicing and repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Identify vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety, and manufacturer procedures.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy environment.
• Support team objectives and work towards targets.
• Utilise diagnostic tools; MOT license is advantageous.
• Adhere to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealer in Treforest, Rhondda Cynon Taf, seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their career as a Vehicle Technician within a well-established multi-franchise dealer group operating in South Wales for over 40 years.

• Starting salary around £30,000+ per annum, depending on experience
• Bonus scheme with potential earnings of £300+ per month
• 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 days after 3 years
• Full manufacturer accredited training
• Contributory workplace pension scheme
• 40-hour week on a 4-day rota, with a long weekend every week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm)

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
