Job summary

Marshall BMW + MINI Grimsby is seeking a skilled Service or Diagnostic Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. You will work on a range of diagnostic, warranty and repair tasks, with opportunities to handle EV work if qualified.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a recognised Diagnostic qualification.
• Experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic preferred; brand qualification considered.
• Strong teamwork, safety and quality standards; committed to progression through manufacturer training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.
• Complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and to manufacturer standards.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues.
• Assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

About The Role

Vehicle Technician | Marshall BMW + MINI Grimsby

Service Technician - £36,816 basic | £42,816 OTE

Diagnostic Technician - £42,259 Basic | £48,259 OTE

At Marshall BMW + MINI Grimsby, we’re offering an exciting opportunity for a skilled and qualified Service or Diagnostic Technician to join our high-performing aftersales team. We’ll support your growth with state-of-the-art facilities, a friendly team and manufacturer training that keeps you on top of your game.

In this role:

• You’ll carry out a range of complex diagnostic, warranty and repair work.


• You’ll complete EV work (if qualified) and hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently, working in line with manufacturer standards.


• You’ll use your expertise in diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve hard to find issues.


• You’ll assist Apprentice Technicians with development where needed.

We're looking for:

• Someone with a minimum of a Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a recognised Diagnostic qualification


• Someone with previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician/Mechanic ideally, but if just brand qualified we will consider your application!


• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.


• Most importantly, someone with a desire to progress with us, as we will commit to supporting and developing you with constant manufacturer training to keep on top of the latest technologies and EV requirements!
