Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Glasgow is seeking a level 3 Vehicle Technician with 4+ years hands-on experience and a full UK driving license to join a leading main dealer group.

The role offers a 4-day week option, strong OTE with uncapped bonuses, and in-house training opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 qualification (or equivalent).
• Level 2 acceptable if you have main dealership experience.
• MOT license beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work as per brand parameters.
• MOT testing duties (if qualified).

Skills

Full UK driving license

Education

NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent)

Level 2 acceptable with main dealership experience

Vehicle Technician –Glasgow

Salary – Up to £47,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Efficiency Bonus + Overtime OTE £56,656 DOE & Qualifications

Days– Monday – Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week or choose a 4 day working ween (Mon – Thur or Tue – Fri, 42 hours per week)

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
