Job summary

Octane Recruitment seeks a Vehicle Technician in Ayr to join a leading main dealer group. You will service and repair vehicles, diagnosing electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults while adhering to brand parameters.

A 4-day week option and strong bonus opportunities are available. Qualified candidates will hold a full UK driving licence and NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) or Level 2 with dealership experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification required, or Level 2 with main dealership experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic faults.
• Conduct MOT testing duties if qualified.

Salary Up to £47,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Efficiency Bonus + Overtime OTE Up to £56,656k DOE & Qualifications

Days Monday Friday, 8:30am - 5pm, Saturday mornings on a rota, 40 hours per week or choose a 4 day working week! Tuesday Friday, 42 hours per week

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
