Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Salisbury is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a well-established, family-run automotive service centre.

You will diagnose, service, and repair a range of vehicles in a busy workshop, working with a friendly team and having the opportunity to progress your automotive career through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is strongly preferred.
• Several years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Motivated team player capable of producing high-quality work.
• Technicians with extensive experience but without formal qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• MOT testing license is advantageous and training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition and repair work.
• Assist in diagnosing and reporting vehicle safety, reliability, and performance issues.
• Adhere strictly to Health & Safety procedures and work quality standards.
• Assist with vehicle MOT testing (training provided if necessary).
• Work efficiently to meet targets set by the workshop management.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Technician to join their well-established, family-run independent automotive service centre located in Salisbury. The Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of vehicle diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs within a busy workshop environment. The successful Vehicle Technician will work closely with the business owners and a friendly team, ensuring all tasks are completed to the company's rigorous standards.
