Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Vehicle Technician for a well-established main dealership in Salisbury. The role offers a competitive salary (£37,340 basic per annum) with bonus and overtime options (OTE £41,340) and clear progression within a busy aftersales team.

You will service vehicles, diagnose faults with manufacturer diagnostic equipment, and carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, and cambelt replacements, all to high standards. Mon-Fri, no weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year's experience in a workshop environment.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Own a well-stocked toolbox suitable for workshop duties.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
• Complete mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension and clutch replacements.
• Carry out cambelt replacements.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
