Job summary

Octane Recruitment is hiring a Vehicle Technician for Trafford Park. The role offers up to £40,000 basic with uncapped bonus and overtime, with an OTE around £60k DOE. Working days are Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with Saturday mornings on a rota.

You will service and maintain vehicles, carry out electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair per brand parameters, and undertake MOT testing duties if qualified. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license.
• NVQ/IMI/ATA or City & Guilds Level 3 ideally; Level 2 considered with extensive main dealership experience.
• MOT License is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair per brand parameters.
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles

• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, ATA or City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience then definitely apply!)
