Job summary

Excel Resourcing Limited is seeking a Contract Vehicle Technician for a Cardiff workshop role. You will perform service, maintenance and repair on a wide range of vehicles on an ongoing contract outside IR35, with rates of £24.00–£25.00 per hour.

The ideal candidate is fully qualified to Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent, has a full UK driving license, your own tools, and strong diagnostic skills for mechanical and electrical faults. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Experience servicing and repairing various vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety practices.
• UK driving license and own tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Works well in a team with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair work at client workshop.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on a range of vehicles.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in the workshop.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely turnaround.

CONTRACT VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - CARDIFF

Position: Vehicle Technician

Location: Cardiff, South Wales

Rate: £24.00 - £25.00 Per Hour (Outside IR35)

CONTRACT VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for fully qualified Vehicle Technicians to work at our client's workshop on an ongoing contractual basis. You will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance and repair work on a wide range of motor vehicles. The contract is outside IR35 and the rate on offer is between £24.00 - £25.00 per hour.

CONTRACT VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or similar in the relevant disciplines.
• Experience carrying out repair and service work to a variety of vehicles.
• Ability to diagnose and rectify a wide range of mechanical & electrical vehicle faults.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workshop.
• UK Driving License and possess your own tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a productive team.
• Time management and organizational skills.
