Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repairs across tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension. You will join a team in a busy workshop environment with opportunities for career progression.

The role offers a base salary of £32,500–£35,910 plus an uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging about £5,000 per year, and a benefits package including generous annual leave and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repairs (brakes, suspension and steering).

• Perform tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work as required.

Qualified Mechanic or Technician??

Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.

Skills And Experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
