Job summary

Wessex Garages is recruiting a Vehicle Technician for our new Kia flagship site at Jupiter Park, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. You’ll join a state‑of‑the‑art workshop with the latest equipment and manufacturer training to develop your career.

You will service, diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer satisfaction while following brand standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (no more than 6 points)
• Experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to the highest standards
• Diagnosing and resolving issues, including non-routine defects, both in the workshop and during road tests
• Continuously developing technical knowledge and staying up to date with brand standards
• Making the most of facilities and processes to maximise productivity
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to customer satisfaction
• Helping maintain industry-leading standards in workshop performance
• Taking part in regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

This role is will at our brand-new Kia flagship site at Jupiter Park - Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. As part of this move, the successful candidate will join a state-of-the-art, purpose-built workshop featuring the latest equipment, technology, and facilities, providing an excellent environment to develop your skills and career with Wessex Garages.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• A full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential

Key information

• Working Pattern: 8:30am – 5:00pm Mon – Fri. 8:30am - 12:30pm Saturdays on a rota
• Salary: Competitive
