Job summary

Wessex Garages is seeking a Vehicle Technician for the new Kia flagship site at Jupiter Park - Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. Join a state-of-the-art workshop with the latest equipment and manufacturer training to develop your career in a busy aftersales team.

You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to high standards, with ongoing training and opportunities to grow within the business. A full UK driving licence is required and main dealer experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous experience in a main dealer workshop is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles to high standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues, including non-routine defects, in workshop and on road tests.
• Continue developing technical knowledge and keep up to date with brand standards.
• Maximise productivity using facilities and processes.
• Ensure all work is safe, efficient and satisfactory to customers.
• Participate in regular training to enhance skills.
