Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair vans and light commercial vehicles in a busy Bolton workshop. The role emphasizes fault-finding, MOT preparation, and accurate documentation.

With a basic salary offer around £36,720 and an OTE of £43,160, the position provides Monday–Friday hours with optional overtime and clear opportunities for training and career progression within a large national business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer guidelines and quality standards.
• Complete job cards and compliance paperwork accurately.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair oflight commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork
