Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Bishop Auckland to perform interim, full, and major services, plus associated repair work. You will handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension components, ensuring quality workmanship.

The role requires Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent experience, and a valid UK driving licence with up to 9 points. Opportunities exist for progression and participation in training schemes.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and related repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, air con, etc).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs.
• Carrying out tyre, brake, suspension and steering work as required.
• Support high-quality customer service and safe vehicle procedures.

Qualified Mechanic or Technician??

Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.
