Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to join our team at one of our Fusion centres, delivering top-class service and customer experience. The role covers interim, full and major services, as well as follow-up repairs, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

You will progress within a growing company that offers excellent benefits and an uncapped bonus scheme, with hybrid training and ATA & MOT Tester Qualifications opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must hold a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus related repairs (brakes, suspension, steering, air con).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs as required.
• Perform tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension work as part of service tasks.

• On-target earnings up to £38,330
• Comprising a base salary of £33,830
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,500 per year

Qualified Mechanic or Technician?? Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.
