Job summary

The AA is seeking a Vehicle Technical Advisor in Oldbury to provide expert telephone support and guide customers and patrols to efficient resolutions. You’ll handle breakdown scenarios, record data in databases, and communicate complex information clearly.

NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair is required, along with a flexible roster including weekends. Join a growing team with training, benefits, and opportunities to progress within AA.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
• Ability to simplify complex technical information for customers.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to work outside normal hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential technical support, advice, and repair fixes to customers.
• Attend breakdowns where needed and guide patrols to the appropriate location.
• Record data accurately in relevant databases for insights and decision-making.
• Communicate information clearly to customers and colleagues.
