Job summary

Halfords, the UK's leading motoring and cycling services provider, is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Bridgend to perform interim, full and major services along with tyre, brake, and steering work.

You will need a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served, a full driving licence with up to 9 penalty points, and a track record of delivering quality vehicle servicing. We offer a competitive base salary, uncapped bonus scheme and extensive staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, or time served experience.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repair work.
• Perform tyre, brake, suspension, steering, and air conditioning tasks.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
