Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services and related repairs. The role involves tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension work within our auto-centre facilities.

Breaks and repairs aside, the position offers a strong base salary of £34,000 with a transparent uncapped bonus scheme and an average annual bonus of about £5,000, contributing to an attractive OTE of up to £39,000.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering components).

• Carry out interim, full and major services and any follow-up repair and replacement work, including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

• Comprising a base salary of £34,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £5,000 per year
• 5 days a week (the centre is closed on a Sunday)

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
