Lookers Limited is seeking a Vehicle Sales Preparation Controller to manage vehicle preparation from stock arrival to customer handover. You will coordinate with Workshop, Parts, Valeting and suppliers to ensure on-time, brand-standard readiness for retail sale.

The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and excellent communication. A full UK driving licence and ability to work across multiple teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dealership, automotive, vehicle logistics, stock control, service or administration environment.
• Strong organisational and planning skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with dealership management or vehicle stock systems is advantageous.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the vehicle preparation process from stock arrival through to customer handover.
• Monitor schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with Workshop, Parts, Valeting and external suppliers.
• Ensure vehicles meet brand standards before release.
• Track status and update records in internal systems.
• Resolve delays and escalate where needed.
• Support sales with vehicle availability updates and delivery planning.
• Adhere to health, safety, and company policies.
