Job summary

Vospers Group in Plymouth is hiring a Vehicle Progress Checker to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the Pre-Delivery Inspection process, from arrival on site to customer handover. You will coordinate logistics, track progress and maintain quality standards.

The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a full UK driving licence. Experience in a dealership or vehicle preparation setting is preferred, with support for training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dealership or vehicle preparation role (preferred).
• Knowledge of PDI processes (advantageous).
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicles arriving for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
• Track vehicle progress through the workshop system.
• Coordinate vehicle movements across site and to external locations.
• Maintain accurate vehicle location and stock records.
• Input and track vehicle preparation details.
• Coordinate accessory fitting with the parts department.
• Identify and report any vehicle damage on arrival.
• Support compound operations and coordinate drivers when needed.
