Job summary

Lloyd Skoda Carlisle, part of the Lloyd Motor Group, is seeking a Vehicle Progressor to join the sales team in Carlisle. You will ensure vehicles are prepared, presented and advertised to a high standard and within timescales.

The role offers a basic salary with OTE £30,000, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00, and a supportive team environment with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who can manage own workload.
• Fast-paced retail environment experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of vehicles with a strong eye for presentation and detail.
• Hands-on and flexible approach to work.
• Organised and reliable, works well in a small team.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience in vehicle valeting, preparation or presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage vehicles from arrival to live online.
• Prepare vehicles for sale with high presentation standards.
• Valet and clean vehicles as required.
• Photograph vehicles and upload adverts to online platforms.
• Ensure descriptions, pricing and specs are accurate.
• Highlight cosmetic/preparation issues before sale.
• Work with sales/management to prioritise stock.
• Maintain high standards in preparation, photography and display areas.
• Support wider site activity as part of the team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Progressor to join the sales team at our busy Lloyd Skoda retailer based in Carlisle.

Reporting to the sales managers, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are prepared, presented and advertised to a high standard and within timescales. This role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to make a real impact every day.

Salary: Basic salary with OTE £30,000

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Role responsibilities:

• Managing vehicles from arrival on site through to being live online
• Preparing vehicles for sale, ensuring excellent presentation standards
• Valeting and cleaning vehicles as required
• Photographing vehicles and uploading adverts to online platforms
• Ensuring vehicle descriptions, pricing and specifications are accurate
• Identifying and highlighting any cosmetic or preparation issues prior to sale
• Working closely with the sales and management team to prioritise stock
• Maintaining high standards across preparation, photography and display areas
• Supporting wider site activity where required as part of a close-knit team

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
