Job summary

Lloyd Volkswagen in Workington is seeking a Sales Manager to lead dealership sales and maximise profitability across all areas. You will translate strategy into operational plans, develop budgets for cars and accessories, and drive customer service excellence.

The role requires leadership of staff, strong financial analysis, and a proactive approach to achieving targets while maintaining FCA compliance. Basic salary with OTE £65,000 uncapped bonus plus a Company Car, with 45+ hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join Lloyd Volkswagen based in Workington.

Salary:

Basic salary with OTE £65,000 uncapped bonus + Company Car

Hours:

45+ Hours per week

Role responsibilities:

• To maximise profit in all areas of responsibility.
• To translate business strategy into operational plans for car sales.
• To develop and agree sales plans and budgets, including all cars, accessories, overheads and all related items, to achieve marketing, sales and financial targets.
• To deliver results to meet and where possible exceed agreed budgets.
• To implement effective policies and procedures to maximise sales opportunities.
• To inspire, provide leadership and effectively manage all staff to maximise productivity and meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• To ensure delivery of excellent customer service within all areas of responsibility.
• To work effectively with all other key personnel within the retailer to establish and implement best practice and ensure our customers receive exceptional customer service.
• To ensure full compliance to FCA guidelines on the selling of financial services and products by all relevant staff.

The ideal Sales Manager will hold the following skills and experiences:

• Commercial awareness and financial analysis.

• IT literate with a full UK driving licence
