Job summary

Wessex Garages in Newport is seeking a Vehicle Prep Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, ensuring standards meet manufacturer guidelines. You will work to deadlines while maintaining quality and delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a solid mechanical background, a Level 2/3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. A supportive team environment and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical background with a Level 2/3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Full manual driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Confident with using the tools of the trade and delivering high-quality PDIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles to meet manufacturer standards.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
