Job summary

Greenlight Automotive in Blackburn is seeking a motivated PDI Technician to prepare used vehicles to the highest standards before customer delivery. You will inspect, service, and perform final quality checks to ensure each car leaves the workshop in excellent condition.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, have at least 2 years as a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician, possess strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician or PDI Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections on used vehicles
• Complete servicing, maintenance, and repair work
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards
• Accurately record diagnostics, repairs, and parts used
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
• Work closely with the wider workshop team to meet deadlines
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on every vehicle
