Job summary

Swansway Group is seeking a Preparation Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. You will work with the Workshop Controller to manage jobs, keep customers informed, and help with any necessary additional works or MOTs if licensed.

The role involves using diagnostic equipment, road testing, and completing accurate service documentation while upholding safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• L3 qualification in vehicle service and repair is essential.
• Must hold a valid driving licence.
• MOT licence may be required to carry out MOTs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspection (PDI) checks on vehicles.
• Provide feedback to the front of house Service Advisor team for additional works or escalation.
• Record on camera work needed and perform vehicle health checks where applicable.
