Job summary

A national automotive company in Dunfermline is seeking a Prep Technician to conduct pre-delivery inspections on vehicles. The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Automotive, current experience as a Vehicle Technician, and a full UK driving licence. The role is full-time and offers a salary between £29,200 - £36,440 with additional benefits including training, flexible working, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure PDIs are carried out to the highest standard.
• Work to agreed time frames while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Uphold quality workmanship and achieve first-time fixes.
