Job summary

Vertu Ford Cheltenham is seeking a Prep Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles. You will work to manufacturer guidelines, meet time frames, and maintain productivity while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role requires a City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3, current Vehicle Technician experience, your own tools, and a full UK driving licence; MOT license is a plus. A rewarding benefits package accompanies the salary.

Qualifications

• Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Own set of tools and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's) on new and used vehicles.
• Work to manufacturer guidelines and agreed time frames.
• Maintain high productivity while delivering excellent customer service.
• Strive for quality workmanship and first-time fixes.
