Job summary

Outcomes First Group (OFG) is seeking a Mechanics Instructor/Teacher for Wetheringsett Manor, Suffolk. The role is permanent, term-time only, 37.5 hours weekly, with a salary up to £42,000 depending on experience/qualifications.

UK applicants only – sponsorship not available. You’ll inspire learners through hands-on mechanics projects, plan and deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a broad educational offer in collaboration with the Headteacher.

Qualifications

• UK QTS desirable.
• UK driving licence is essential.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the quality of teaching in Mechanics.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate a Mechanics curriculum.
• Create an inclusive learning environment that supports progress.
• Deliver well-structured lessons with high expectations for all learners.
• Provide personalised and differentiated learning to meet diverse needs.
• Maintain high expectations while building respectful relationships.
• Use assessment to track progress and inform planning.
• Embed literacy, numeracy, and ICT into teaching.
